Beauty vs Aklaq

So I know am going to get in trouble for this rant but I am kind of sick of the whole concept to do with pretty. Some people believe that being pretty is now your job or your vocation. You major in being pretty, now that’s all well and fine.

But don’t mix that with islam, Islam doesn’t need your help to make it prettier. It was beautiful before you came around to it.

Promote our deen through akhlaq, piety and sincerity not through photographs, styles or fashion. The main beauty for me behind islam is the simplicity of the religion.

It doesn’t specify you much to change except to belief, and the rest is as means to protect and better you as an individual. So perhaps we should work on that rather then the way we look.
